1. Our approach
Prism & Petal is an informational confectionery magazine. This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains what information the site handles, what it does not collect, and the choices available to you. We have designed the journal to be read without an account, a profile, or the submission of personal information.
We do not run analytics, behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, social media pixels, or third-party embedded content on this site.
2. Information you choose to share
The journal itself does not provide forms that collect your name, email address, or other details. If you choose to email prismpetal.studio@gmail.com, your email provider will handle that message according to its own policies, and we will receive the information you include.
- We use editorial correspondence to respond, consider feedback, and correct our work.
- Please avoid sending sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information.
- We retain routine correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for editorial and recordkeeping purposes.
3. Local storage & the cookie notice
When you select “Got it” on the cookie banner, the site saves a small preference named prismPetalCookieChoice in your browser’s local storage. Its value records that you acknowledged the notice. This allows the banner to stay hidden on later visits using the same browser and device.
This preference is not a cookie, does not contain your name or contact details, and is not transmitted to us by the static page. It remains on your device until you clear site data through your browser settings.
Your controls
You may delete or block local storage using your browser controls. Blocking it will not prevent you from reading the journal; the notice may simply appear again. Browser instructions vary, so consult the help documentation for your specific browser.
4. Automatically processed information
Our pages contain no analytics scripts and make no third-party requests. As with most websites, a hosting provider may process basic technical records—such as an IP address, requested file, timestamp, browser type, or security event—to deliver and protect the service. We do not use those operational records to build reader profiles.
5. Sharing, sale & retention
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share reader information for behavioral advertising. Information from voluntary correspondence may be disclosed only when needed to operate our email service, protect the publication, comply with a lawful obligation, or with your direction.
6. Children’s privacy
This general-audience editorial site is not designed to collect information from children. Because it has no submission forms, children can read its content without providing personal details. A parent or guardian who believes a child has emailed us personal information may contact us to request appropriate deletion.
7. Security & policy updates
The journal uses static documents and local assets to minimize its technical footprint. No online transmission or storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure, so please use discretion in correspondence. We may revise this policy when our practices or legal obligations change; the effective date above will identify the latest version.
